By using our services, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us

• Contact details — name, email address, phone number, service address.
• Booking details — home size, service type, preferred date and time, special instructions, access codes you choose to share.
• Account credentials — email and password if you create a customer or cleaner account.
• Payment information — card number and billing details are entered directly into Stripe's secure checkout. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Photos and complaint details — if you submit a complaint, the photos and description you upload through our portal.
• Cleaner applications — if you apply to clean with us, the application form data, references, insurance status, and background-check authorization.

Information we generate or collect automatically

• Service photos — after every cleaning, the assigned cleaner takes room-by-room photos of the completed work for quality verification.
• Booking history — past services, ratings, recurring schedule, and invoices.
• Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, time on site, referring URL.
• Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 7.
• Phone-call data — calls to (254) 364-6478 are answered by our Dialzara AI receptionist, which transcribes the conversation so we can follow up with you.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

• Schedule, dispatch, and complete your cleaning service.
• Communicate with you about your booking (confirmations, reminders, photo summaries, follow-ups).
• Process payments and deposits through Stripe.
• Operate the satisfaction guarantee, including reviewing complaint photos with AI assistance.
• Verify cleaner identity and run background checks for cleaner applicants.
• Improve our services, troubleshoot issues, and keep the platform secure.
• Send service updates, occasional promotional offers, and seasonal cleaning tips. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.
• Meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

4. Photo Verification & AI Review

Our service includes photo verification after every clean. Cleaners photograph each room when they finish, and you receive these photos by email or in your customer portal. Photos are stored securely and used for:

• Showing you that every area was cleaned to standard.
• Internal quality reviews of our cleaning team.
• Investigating complaints, including AI-assisted review of complaint photos to help our team make fair decisions on re-cleans.

We do not use your home photos in marketing or share them publicly without your explicit written consent.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only in these limited cases:

• With your assigned cleaner — name, address, phone number, and service details so they can complete the job.
• With service providers we rely on to operate the business:
  • Stripe — payment processing and deposit handling.
  • Brevo — sending transactional and marketing emails.
  • Dialzara — AI phone answering for (254) 364-6478.
  • OpenAI — powering our customer-support chatbot and complaint-photo review. Chat messages and complaint photos are sent to OpenAI for processing under their data-use terms; OpenAI does not use this data to train its models.
  • Namecheap — web hosting.
  • Background-check vendors — only for cleaner applicants, with their consent.
• For legal reasons — to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AMerryClean, our customers, or others.
• In a business transfer — if AMerryClean is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction.

6. Marketing Communications

If you book a cleaning or sign up for our newsletter, we may send you cleaning tips, seasonal offers, and product updates. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email info@amerryclean.com to opt out at any time. Transactional emails (booking confirmations, reminders, complaint updates) will continue even if you unsubscribe from marketing.

7. Cookies, Tracking & Meta Pixel

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, measure traffic, and improve the site. We also use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure ad performance and to show you relevant ads if you visit Facebook or Instagram. The Meta Pixel sets cookies and shares limited browsing data with Meta.

You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of personalized ads on Meta platforms through your Facebook/Instagram ad preferences.

8. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to handle disputes, tax records, and quality reviews. Photos and booking records are typically retained for at least 24 months. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 10).

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted server access, hashed passwords, and PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

10. Your Rights

You can:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal record-keeping requirements.
• Opt out of marketing emails and personalized ads.
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have additional rights, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the right to delete, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Our services are intended for adults age 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will delete it.
